About the ASIC Graduate Program

The ASIC Graduate Program has continually evolved over the last 17 years and is designed to make the most of your strengths and skills. We are looking for graduates in the following disciplines:

ASIC is seeking a range of graduates who can contribute to ensure that Australians have trust and confidence in our financial system. Importantly, you'll have an enquiring mind and enjoy working with others to solve complex problems. You'll be a person who seeks out new challenges and experiences to help build your career and knowledge.

Our program

Our program focuses on developing both your technical and professional skills. It's a process that starts in your first year and continues throughout your career. Our aim is to develop your talents through a balance of on-the-job training, structured development programs and rotations.

You'll be involved in surveillances, investigations, analysing intelligence, providing guidance and project work from the word 'go'. That doesn't mean we'll leave you to go it alone. You'll find mentors on hand for each rotation, support from your team and a buddy from last year's program to help you.

It's not often a graduate program gives you this level of exposure so early, but we believe the only way to learn is through real world experience.

The program includes:

  • Four 4-month rotations
  • Three day induction program in our Sydney office
  • A graduate development program designed to build your skills as an effective regulator
  • Financial assistance towards further study
  • Flexible working hours and flextime
  • Graduate fundraising project

When you apply to our graduate program, opportunities may be available to rotate into the following areas:

Your starting salary is $62,867 plus up to 15.4% superannuation.

Graduates can apply to any one of our Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney offices. We especially encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply, including Indigenous Australians and people with a disability. Please note, not all job streams are available in all locations.

You must be an Australian citizen to apply for the ASIC Graduate Program.
